Background: Uterine fibroids or uterine myomas are benign tumors cell myometrial smooth muscle surrounded by a pseudocapsule. occur in reproductive age women and will slowly disappear at menopause. the second most common problem experienced Indonesia after cervical cancer. The world incidence rate of is 20-35%, while ranges from 2.4% to 11.7%. study was conducted know related factors with incident RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Methods: This research an analytic observational cross-sectional approach. sample this were gynecological patients Palembang data collected for period January 2020 - July 2021 that met inclusion criteria exclusion criteria. Results Conclusions: From 60 patients, proportion 61.7%. analysis using Chi-square test showed ( p = 0.005) had significant relationship myomas. results menarche p= 1.00), parity 0.761), body mass index =0.559), infertility =0.112), history hypertension =1.00 ), diabetes mellitus hormonal contraception 0.634) did not have myoma.
